WIOA Youth Programs
Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Title 1B Youth program provides services to youth, ages 14-21. The main objective is to focus on long-term academic and occupational learning opportunities and to provide a comprehensive service strategy.
Basic Qualifications:
- In-school youth, ages 14-21
- Out-of-school youth, ages 16-21
- Low Income Household
- Legal Residents of the US
All programs are provided in Tucson and Marana.
PPEP’s After School Programs funded by Pima County’s Workforce Investment Board offer low income students opportunity for needed education in Math, English, and AIMS Testing for academic credit and to increase grade levels. Work Experience is also offered for those students eligible to go to work part-time. Students are paid wages or stipends depending upon the program they are enrolled in.

Summer School Basic Education Program
PPEP’s Summer Basic Education Programs are funded by Pima County’s Workforce Investment Board. The summer basic education program offers low income students education opportunity to study Math, English or Science with certified teachers, in order to increase grade levels and earn academic credit for school. Students are paid a stipend and provided healthy snacks.
