BENEFITS OF WORKING WITH PPEP NFJP
When working with employers PPEP has the ability to do a number of things that will benefit employers working with PPEP. These include, but are not limited to:
PROGRAMS

Providing up to 50% reimbursement to do hands on training with workers. Employers have the opportunity to interview prior to position placement. Upfront paperwork and contracts are done by PPEP Staff. Employers are only responsible for timesheets, back up documentation for wages, and monthly evaluation of employee. Additionally, PPEP will pay for workers comp while in training. PPEP will handle the paperwork and the training contract. Employers are responsible for timesheets and back up documentation for employee payments.

Providing 100% of employee wages for employer to work with and train an employee with little skills in the given industry.

Agribusiness Benefits through Customized Training: Designing and developing training modules, tailored to employer needs for customized training to include: onsite English classes; tractor maintenance; or professional development.
Apprenticeships Development: PPEP can help set up certified apprenticeship programs through Department of labor for skilled occupations requiring 2000+ hours of training.

Providing education classes to obtain GED certificate and English classes to increase language skills and increase employment opportunities. Please call to find out eligibility criteria and class schedules.
Tax Credits &
Other Services

PPEP staff can assist with:
- Applying for Tax Credits, such as the Worker Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC) that pays you an incentive for hiring employees who are identified as high-risk for a variety of reasons. For more information on this, please visit www.doleta.gov/business/incentives/opptax.
- Getting workers Bonded, through our partners at DES Job Services.
- Mass Recruitments, utilizing our partners at the One-Stop Career Centers.
- Providing space for interviews in one of our various locations throughout Arizona.
- Information on small (MICRO) business loans, offered through PPEP’s Microbusiness and Housing Dept. (PMHDC) to small business owners who have been denied traditional lending.
